There was spring cleaning in school today. I thought it was tiring, and it WAS tiring. But it was fun too anyway :D

I was actually asked to help out with tidying the Lego Mindstorms set, but since I finished early, I decided  to helpout my friends at the rooftop. :D

I had to scrub the rooftop. It was fun at first, but then my right arm ached and my right index finger was swollen because I held the brush too hard >< Ouch.

There was a lot of scrubbing to do >< I had to scrub behind the potted plants, the bridge-thingy, and the other grounds near it. Arrr.

My hamster :3

I forgot to write about my pet hamster. I got it for my 11th birthday :)

Her name is Pika. She's a Campbell's Russian Dwarf hamster ^^ she's sooo adorable!! I don't know how old she is, I haven't asked her previous owner(my mom's friend) yet.

Okay, so here's the story behind it;

My birthday was coming soon and all I wanted was a hamster. I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to have one. My parents were quite skeptical about it; I had to persuade them and give them like, 1001 excuses(practically xD) of whats so good about having a hamster. And... finally, on 18th January 2013, which was 1 week after my birthday, my parents officially let me to have a hamster.

We went to my mom's friend's house to pick up the hamster that my mom had asked for from her, and brought it home. When I first saw it, I practically melted. I mean, its soo cute! At that time, I didn't know that 'it' was a 'she'. But then my mom's friend told me, and then I knew. :)

And.. that's the story. Quite short, isn't it? The 'begging and persuading' part was quite long though. Anyway, I'm glad to have a hamster. I feel like the luckiest person in the world. ^^

Haflah Rehearsal

Sorry I ddn't post anything yesterday. I wanted to, but I had no time. Btw,today I just had the Haflah rehearsal. And..... I got to know what awards I got! But.... I forgot. Hee X3

Anyway, as I said earlier, I had the Haflah rehearsal. There were some of my classmates too, like my BFF Zakirah, Nabilah, Dini, Sukainah and even Hakam. He iss the only boy from my class that was invited to the Haflah :D :D :D but there were some other P5 boys too. -.-

I arrived at school at about 7.50 am. I decided to have breakfast at school, but all the food stalls in the canteen was closed. To make it worse, the only money that I had was a 2-dollar note and a 20-cent and 10-cent coin(that makes 30 cents). Since the fruit machine(the only machine that could accept notes TT.TT) was out of order,the other vending machines can only accept coins, and obviously NONE of the drinks cost 30 cents, I couldn't buy anything. I starved >< and to top it all off, my friends weren't even there yet!

Okay, I had to admit, that was a terrible morning to start with. But then... at 8.15 am, Nabilah arrived! I was like, YAY! Finally I have a trusty companion xD and 5 minutes later, Dini arrived! I was even happier. 2 trusty companions are quite a great deal, y'know!

We didn't know what to do, so we decided to go to the canteen. At the canteen, we saw the Al-Irsyad Satya(the Irsyad's Bandung division)students(secondary) and some of the Sec 3 students from our school eating together. They got free food and drinks :( and we didn't. So we(okay except Nabilah, coz she already had breakfast at McD before coming to school) had to starve. At least I had a banana before coming to school ><

At about 8.45am, Zakirah arrived. She said that she had been looking for us since like, half and hour ago. We quickly went to the auditorium for the rehearsal, since it was already 9 am.

At the auditorium, our seating arrangements were arranged according to the sequence that we were going to come up on stage. I had to sit in between Sukainah(yay!) and a P4 SL boy (><). Zakirah sat on the other side of Sukainah, so we still got to talk to each other. Okay, we talked to each other like, most of the time. xD

Then, the rehearsal started. It started off with the emcee's speeches or whatever blah blah blah, then there was the principal and guest-of-honour speech. We were lucky that both those people weren't there, coz if they were, we would have to listen to their "inspiring" speech -.- Anyway, after the speeches were over, there was the Qur'an recitation by the 2 boys, Darwish and Danniesh, which almost made me sleep xD not only me okay! And no offense xD xD

After that was the Sec 4 girls' choral reading. Okay, I guess. and then it was.... the moment that all of us had been waiting for!! *Drumroll* The.. Primary Students' Prize Giving Ceremony! :D We had to line up in order on the stairs, and come up to the stage when our names were called. When it was my turn, I felt soo awkward and nervous. But I got over it quite soon, though.

And.. the Primary Students' Prize Giving Ceremony was over, then there was a performance, and then there was the Secondary Students' Prize Giving Ceremony.

There was this abang(that means 'elder brother' in english) that got a lot of awards. He got the First in Standard award, First in Class award, Best in Combined Science, Mathematics, Arabic, Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. There were so many that I couldn't even remember! And by saying 'so many', I seriously mean it. There were sooooooo many awards that almost everyone were like, 'Wooow!' and the text were so small coz all of them couldn't fit if it were bigger. Plus, he got highest in STE!

Then there was the Khalifah Fil-Ard award, which was awarded to 2 graduating students, Kakak(or 'elder sister' in english) Raudhatul Jannah and Abang.. something. Heheheh sorry >< I guess I forgot his name. SORRY!

Then.. we had a break, and after the break the rehearsal started again. It was pretty much the same, though - so I don't have to write about it :3 and we finished at 12.15 pm.

After the rehearsal, I went downstairs and waited for my parents. My parents arrived at 1 pm, and took me to my mom's friend's house to drop something and then my dad dropped me , my mom and my brother at the Bedok Public Library.

At the library, I borrowed 2 Asterix comics, a Manga Shoujo guidebook and an Amber Brown book by Paula Danziger. After that, we went home.

P.S. I know the middle-to-last part of this story was kinda boring >< I was too lazy to write it properly X3 hee!

changes

I just read through all my other posts that I posted about 2 years ago, compared them to the posts that I recently posted and realized something.

Of course, it's different(DUH!), but there's something else.

I mean, try and compare it. its like... so different. The way how I write my posts, I mean.

The way how the posts that were written on like, 2 years ago were more immature than the way how i write the recently written posts, right? That's what I realized. Especially for the 'Secret of my Cleverness' (lol xD). And I realized that ( NO OFFENSE!) the way that I wrote is... well, kinda dumb. Like seriously. But then again, I was only 9 years old :) and that is part of my maturing process, isn't it?

But somehow, 2 years seem to pass so quickly. It only felt like one year. I guess I had too much fun :) I hope this year won't pass so quickly. I don't want to take the PSLE all of a sudden :(

Well, that's all from me right now ;) gotta go!

GOOD NEWS :D :D :D

Yay!! I'm so exited ^^

If you're wondering why, I'll tell you. It's because of two reasons (peace! xD)
1- I was invited to go to this year's School Haflah AGAIN :D :D :D
2- I'm going for my school's SPORTS DAY!! :D :D :D

Oh, and if you're wondering what is Haflah, it's actually some prize giving ceremony for those who have done well for their exams the previous year. This is my 4th time being invited there, and I'm soo happy :D:D:D I mean, why won't you feel happy when you're invited to a prize giving ceremony?

The Haflah is gonna be on 1 June insyaa allah. I'm so excited xD I can't wait! There's gonna be a Haflah rehearsal this Monday, 27 May. I can't wait to see what award I've earned! So far, for the other three times that I was invited to the Haflah, I usually got a "First in Standard" award, "First in Class" award and some awards in being the best in some subjects. Okay, seriously, I'm not bragging. I was just telling ;)

As for the Sports Day, it's a day when all the sports houses compete with each other in sports events, like the 100m,200m and 4x100m(or relay) race and the telematch. I registered myself in the 100m race, but there are many other students from my house who are registering for that too. So, on Tuesday, 28 May, there will be a selection for choosing students to participate in the races. Since I have 7 competitors, I have to train hard to get into the finals. I just went to Bedok Reservoir Park a few hours ago, training with my dad. The fastest record that I've made so far is 29 seconds (hehe xD) and I'm going to train again tomorrow or Sunday at the Serangoon Stadium. I'm training really hard because I REALLY REALLY want to get in the Top 2 Players so that I can get into the finals and into the game :D I badly want to get into the game because I haven't ran in the School Sports Day since I was in Primary 2. The last time that I ran was in Primary 1, in the individual sprint. I didn't play at the stadium that time as I was still in the lower primary. But anyway, I won first place and got a small kinda-like gold trophy. I was so proud.

But after that, all that I participated in was only the telematch, even last year. I nearly burst into tears when I lost to some of the other girls during the player selection. Well, at least I got to play in the telematch anyway, I thought.

But I can't play in the telematch all the time! I mean, it's so boring. We don't even play on the track. It's a field event. We usually play mini kinda-like golf or sack-hopping(is that what's the game is called? Sorry if its wrong xD).

And thats why I chose to participate in the 100m race. I'll try to beat the rest :D And to beat the rest during the selection, I have to train really really extra super-duper harder than I usualy do(okay I don't even train xD). My leg muscles kinda hurt but c'mon, its only the first training session. I'll soon get used to it anyway :)

So.. yeah. That's all, I guess :) Gotta go! My dad's calling me!

EXAMS... -.-"

Yo guise,

Long time no see! Sorry I didn't open my blog for a looooong time >< I almost forgot about it.
Anyway, I don't think I can open it everyday becoz:
1- I'm having MYE (mid-year exams) p.s. I just had my oral exams yesterday. ><
2- I'm like, 1 year to PSLE, so my teachers are asking me to study REALLY HARD.
3- Now that I'm going home myself(yippee!!:D), I arrive home half an hour later than usual.

So.. don't expect me to write in everyday, okay? I have things to do. Sorry ><

Btw, yesterday was just my oral exams, right? Okay I just said that  xD and I still have 5 more days of EXAMINATIONS, so I'm stressed out. And even though our exams finish early, we still have lessons (until 12). So we're going back home at 12 noon. At least we still have some time to study...

And tomorrow's my English exams (Paper 2&3). Tuesday's my Qur'an oral (yay!), Wednesday's my Math exams, Thurday's my Malay exams and Friday's my Science exam, the LAST exam. WOOHOO!! And to make it better, there's CCA on Friday! ^^ Can't wait for Friday!

Oh, I almost forgot. My school just started the CCA for P4 and P5 students. :D There are 6 CCAs;
Tarannum and Qasidah, Soccer, Art&Craft, Aikido, Silat and Swimming (boys and girls separately). My CCA is Art&Craft. My best friends' CCA is Art&Craft too! :D And that's why I can't wait.

I haven't had my CCA last Friday because of the exams -.- so I'm really looking forward to this Friday ;D

Okay, back to the main subject; exams. I know exams are stressing, but there's one thing that I kinda like about it. What I like about it is... I don't have to bring a heavy bag like I always do! :3 I mean, even though we have lessons, we don't study anymore. Sometimes, the teacher will ask us to revise our own studies or do our own work because we don't need to study anything. Because of this, I bring my word search or story book everyday to keep myself occupied if the teachers ask us to do our own work. Sometimes, I'l bring an empty notebook to draw and scribble stuff whenever I want to. That way, I won't be so bored.

Well, I'd rather go to my friends' tables and chat with them, but the teacher won't ket us make noise or walk away from our seats. So I just have to stay in my own seat and do my OWN work. Without any noise.

So.. that's about it, I guess.
Gotta go study my English!
